The Audit Log records: field value changes (old and new value), record creation and deletion, profile and permission changes, login and logout events, import and export actions, and API-triggered changes. Both manual edits by users and automated changes from Workflow Rules and Blueprints are captured.
The Audit Log can be viewed at the record level (the activity timeline shows all changes to that record) and at the organisation level (Setup – Audit Log shows all changes across all users and modules). Organisation-level audit logs can be exported for compliance reporting.
