As Zoho CRM configurations grow with custom fields, workflow rules, blueprints, custom functions, and permission profiles, it becomes impossible to see the full picture from the standard admin UI. Fields pile up, automations overlap, nobody knows what connects to what, and every change feels risky.
Each module answers a specific category of questions about your Zoho CRM setup.
CRM health overview with module counts, field totals, automation density, and org summary at a glance.
Browse every module's fields, layouts, and related lists. Filter by type to find custom vs system fields.
Interactive entity-relationship diagram showing how modules connect via lookups and related lists.
Find unused, duplicate, and misconfigured fields across your Zoho CRM. Export a cleanup checklist.
Trace data movement between modules through lookups, related lists, and cross-module updates.
Visualise every workflow rule, assignment rule, and scoring rule with full trigger tracing.
Inspect blueprints including states, transitions, mandatory fields, and SLA timers at a glance.
Complete catalogue of all Deluge custom functions, including triggers, standalone, and button functions.
Browse all email and inventory templates with merge field inspection and usage details.
Cross-reference profiles and roles against module-level permissions in a single, unified view.
All CRM users with profiles, roles, status, and licence details in a sortable, exportable table.
Assess impact before making changes. See what depends on any field, module, or automation rule.
Spot configuration drift including mismatched field types, inconsistent naming, and settings misalignment.
Identify unused fields, inactive workflows, and orphaned configurations cluttering your CRM.
Side-by-side comparison of two modules with fields, layouts, and automations diff'd clearly.
Organisation-level settings, API limits, licence usage, and environment info in one place.
See exactly what's configured without clicking through every module, field, and automation individually. Audit and clean up your CRM with confidence.
Onboard to a new client's Zoho CRM in minutes instead of days. Understand their schema, automations, and permissions before the first discovery call.
Use ER Graph during discovery, Change Checker before go-live, and Config Review for post-implementation audits of Zoho CRM deployments.
Monitor permission drift, track user licences, and ensure configuration stays aligned with company policies and access requirements.
Export permission matrices, field inventories, and automation logs for compliance reviews and security audits.
Understand how pipeline stages, scoring rules, and assignment logic work. Identify bottlenecks and automation gaps in your sales process.

In the top-right corner of Zoho CRM, click the Setup gear icon. In the left panel, navigate to Developer Space and then select Widgets.
Click the New Widget button. When prompted for the widget type, select WebTab. Give the widget a name, for example, CRM Explorer.
Set Hosting to External, then enter the Base URL: https://aaxonix.com/Zoho-Plugins/Zoho-CRM-Explorer/widget. Click Save.
Still in Setup, navigate to Customization → Modules and Fields. In the top tab bar, click Web Tabs, then click New Web Tab.
Enter a Tab Name (e.g. CRM Explorer). Under Source, select Widgets. A Widget dropdown will appear. Choose the CRM Explorer widget you created in the previous steps.
Under Web Tab Access, select which profiles should see the tab (at minimum, Administrator). Click Save.
CRM Explorer will now appear as a tab in your Zoho CRM top navigation bar. Click it to open the widget. It will load and prompt you to complete the connection setup.
CRM Explorer is a free, AI-powered Metadata Intelligence Hub for Zoho CRM, built by Aaxonix. It installs as a WebTab widget inside your Zoho CRM and gives you complete visibility into your CRM configuration, including fields, automations, blueprints, permissions, and relationships, across 16 purpose-built modules plus an AI assistant.
Yes, CRM Explorer is completely free. No licence fee, no per-user charges, no trial period, no feature gating. Install it in your Zoho CRM and use all 16 modules and the AI assistant without any cost. Built by Aaxonix as a free tool for the Zoho community.
CRM Explorer installs as a WebTab widget in Zoho CRM. Log in as Admin, create a Widget in Developer Space with the type WebTab, set hosting to External with the CRM Explorer URL, then create a Web Tab under Modules and Fields pointing to that widget. The full setup is 8 steps and takes under 10 minutes. See the User Guide for detailed step-by-step instructions.
CRM Explorer reads only metadata such as field definitions, layout configurations, automation rules, and permission profiles. It does not read, modify, or store your actual CRM records. No contact names, deal values, or business data is accessed. All communication uses HTTPS via Zoho's official OAuth 2.0 API.
CRM Explorer works with Zoho CRM Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate editions. It requires API access, which is available on Professional and above. The Free and Standard editions of Zoho CRM do not include API access and are not supported.
AI CRM Assist lets you ask questions about your Zoho CRM configuration in plain English. It analyses your metadata in real time and returns structured answers. For example, you can ask which fields are unused, what automations fire on a specific module, or how permissions differ between profiles. The AI reads metadata only and never accesses your actual records.
CRM Explorer is completely free. Install it in under 10 minutes and see your entire CRM configuration clearly for the first time.
