What is a Tabular Report in Zoho CRM?

A Tabular Report lists records from a selected module, filtered and sorted as specified, in a flat table. Each row is one record; each column is a field. There is no grouping, no subtotals, and no aggregations – just the raw data. This makes Tabular Reports ideal for data exports, audit lists, and one-off data pulls.

For grouped analysis with subtotals, use a Summary Report. For two-dimensional cross-tabulations, use a Matrix Report. For visualisations, add a Chart to a Summary Report.

Industry Example

Manufacturing: A sales ops manager needs to send the finance team a list of all deals closed in Q3 with the deal name, amount, close date, and owner. A Tabular Report on the Deals module filtered to “Stage = Closed Won AND Close Date in Q3” gives exactly this – a clean, exportable table ready for a spreadsheet.
