A Chart Component is created by selecting a saved Report and choosing a chart type to visualise it. The component is then added to a Dashboard. Available chart types include: Bar, Stacked Bar, Line, Area, Pie, Donut, Funnel, and Heat Map.
Chart Components are interactive – you can click a segment of a pie chart or a bar in a bar chart to drill down into the underlying records. This makes dashboards actionable, not just informational.
