A Lookup Field creates a many-to-one relationship: many records in the child module can look up to one record in the parent module. For example, adding a “Project” Lookup Field on the Deals module allows each Deal to be associated with a Project record – and from the Project record, a Related List shows all linked Deals.
A standard Lookup Field allows one linked record. A Multi-Lookup Field allows multiple records from the target module to be linked to a single source record. For example, a Multi-Lookup on the Contact module could link multiple Accounts to one Contact (useful for contacts who work across multiple companies).
A Lookup Field creates a relationship between two CRM modules by allowing one record to reference another. It enables many-to-one linkages and makes the related record accessible as a navigable link directly from the source record.
A Lookup Field links one record in the source module to one record in the target module. A Multi-Lookup Field allows one source record to be linked to multiple records in the target module simultaneously.
