Three step types are available. An Email Step sends a pre-written email automatically on the scheduled day. A Call Step creates a task reminding the rep to make a phone call on that day, with optional call script notes. A Task Step creates a custom task – for example, “Send LinkedIn message” or “Share whitepaper” – that the rep must complete manually.
The day offset for each step is relative to the previous step, allowing for flexible spacing – for example, Step 1 on Day 0, Step 2 on Day 3, Step 3 on Day 5, and so on.
A Cadence Step is one scheduled touch point within a Cadence sequence. It can be an automated email, a call reminder task, or a custom task. Each step has a day offset that determines when it fires relative to enrolment or the previous step.
