In Zoho Connect, the Feed is a reverse-chronological list of posts visible to members with appropriate access. The network-level Feed shows posts from all Groups a user belongs to and announcements from the organisation. Each Group also has its own Feed showing only activity within that Group. Users can create text posts, attach files, mention colleagues, add polls, and tag content. Reactions and comments appear inline under each post.
Post to the organisation-wide Feed for news that everyone should see: policy updates, company milestones, new joiner welcomes, or event announcements. Post to a Group’s Feed for content relevant only to that team or project. Avoid using the Feed for content that needs a permanent, structured home; longer-form documentation belongs in a Manual, and structured discussions belong in a Forum rather than as comment threads on a Feed post.
Feed posts are time-ordered, which means they get buried as new content arrives. If a piece of information needs to remain visible and findable over time, use a Manual or Forum instead. Administrators can pin important posts to keep them visible at the top of the Feed. Encourage employees to use @mentions and hashtags in posts so that relevant people are notified and content is searchable by topic.
The Network Feed is the organisation-wide timeline visible to all members, aggregating posts from across the organisation. A Group Feed is scoped to a specific Group and shows only content posted within that Group by its members. When you post to a Group’s Feed, it appears in that Group and may surface in the Network Feed for Group members, but it is primarily a Group-level communication.
Yes. Administrators and Group owners can pin specific posts to keep them visible at the top of a Feed. Pinned posts stay at the top regardless of when newer content arrives. This is useful for keeping critical announcements, links to important documents, or recurring notices visible to members without them scrolling back through older activity.
