Elements are found in the left panel of the Page Builder. You drag an element onto the canvas and it snaps into the nearest section or column. Each element has its own settings panel covering content, style, and spacing. Text elements let you format copy directly; media elements ask for an upload or URL; interactive elements such as forms and buttons include action and destination settings. Elements can be reordered, duplicated, or deleted at any time without affecting other elements on the page.
Choose a Text element for body copy and headings, an Image element for visuals, and a Button element wherever you need a call-to-action. The Form Element is suited for lead capture or enquiry pages, while the Code Snippet element covers any custom embed that Zoho Sites does not natively support. Combining multiple elements inside a single section creates rich, multi-column layouts.
Some elements, such as tables and sliders, are available only on paid Zoho Sites plans. Nesting elements more than two columns deep can cause display issues on mobile, so preview on small screens after adding complex arrangements. Deleting a section removes all elements inside it, so duplicate before making large structural changes.
A CA firm in Chennai built its services page by placing a Heading element, three Icon Box elements, and a Button element pointing to their contact form. The entire layout took about 20 minutes in the Page Builder, with no outside designer needed and zero additional cost beyond their existing Zoho Sites subscription.
Not directly, but you can duplicate a page that contains the element, or copy sections between pages. Zoho Sites does not currently have a global component library for single elements.
There is no hard element limit, but very long pages with many media-heavy elements can slow down load time. Keep image files optimised and limit auto-playing video elements to maintain good page performance.
