A learning path is an ordered collection of courses that guides a learner through a progression from foundational knowledge to advanced skills. Rather than enrolling in individual courses, learners enrol in the learning path and are automatically given access to courses in the defined sequence.
Admins create a learning path by selecting courses and arranging them in sequence. They can enforce sequential completion (Course 2 unlocks only after Course 1 is done) or allow learners to take courses in any order. A learning path has its own completion status and can issue a certificate upon completion of all included courses.
Learning paths are used for structured onboarding programmes, leadership development tracks, technical skill certifications, and compliance training that requires multiple courses across different topics. They provide a single enrolment point for what would otherwise require multiple separate enrolments.
Yes. A single course can be part of several learning paths. This is useful for foundational courses that are prerequisites for multiple advanced tracks, such as a basic product knowledge course that appears in both the Sales and Support learning paths.
Yes, if the admin enables certification for the learning path. The learning path certificate is separate from any individual course certificates and represents the completion of the full development track.
