Zoho Inventory API

The REST API that allows external systems and custom applications to read and write data in Zoho Inventory, enabling custom integrations and automation.

What Is the Zoho Inventory API?

The Zoho Inventory API is a REST-based interface that allows developers to programmatically access and manipulate data in Zoho Inventory. Common use cases include syncing orders from a custom e-commerce platform, automating purchase order creation from an ERP, and building custom reporting dashboards.

Authentication

The API uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. You register your application in the Zoho Developer Console, obtain client credentials, and exchange them for access tokens. Tokens expire and must be refreshed using a refresh token to maintain continuous access.

Key Endpoints

The API covers items, item groups, contacts, sales orders, purchase orders, invoices, vendor bills, warehouses, and inventory adjustments. The Zoho Inventory API documentation at inventory.zoho.com/api provides endpoint references, request examples, and response schemas.
