Training Programme

A Training Programme in Zoho People is a structured learning initiative created by HR or L&D, defining the training objective, content, schedule, trainers, and target audience. Employees are enrolled in programmes, and completion and feedback are tracked within the system.

What is a Training Programme in Zoho People?

A Training Programme is a formal learning initiative set up in Zoho People’s training module. It defines what will be taught, who will teach it, when and where sessions will happen, and which employees are required to attend. The system tracks enrolment, attendance, and completion for each participant.

Training Programme components

  • Programme name and objective: What skill or knowledge gap the training addresses.
  • Training sessions: One or more scheduled sessions with dates, times, and trainers assigned.
  • Target audience: Which employees are required or eligible to attend (by department, designation, or individual selection).
  • Materials: Attached documents, videos, or links to resources.
  • Feedback form: Post-training survey to evaluate trainer effectiveness and content quality.

Training completion tracking

Zoho People records which employees have completed each programme. This data appears on the employee record and can be used in performance appraisals — linking skill development to career progression — and in compliance audits where certain training is mandatorily required.
