A Subflow in Zoho Flow is a reusable set of steps that can be called from within other flows. If you have a common sequence of actions (e.g., creating a contact in Zoho CRM, adding them to a Campaigns list, and sending a welcome email) that appears in multiple flows, you can build it once as a Subflow and call it from each parent flow.
Subflows reduce duplication and make maintenance easier. If the email template in the welcome sequence changes, you update it once in the Subflow and all parent flows automatically use the updated version. Without Subflows, you would update the same sequence in every flow that contains it — a time-consuming and error-prone process.
A Subflow has no independent trigger — it only runs when called from a parent flow. An independent flow runs on its own trigger. Use Subflows for reusable action sequences; use independent flows for end-to-end processes with their own trigger events.
