A Report in Zoho Creator is the component that displays data from forms. While forms are for input, reports are for output — they show existing records in organised, interactive views. Reports can display data as lists, grids, calendars, charts, maps, timelines, or Kanban boards, depending on the data type and business need.
Configure reports with specific fields to display, sort order, default filters, and groupings. Add search bars, date range filters, and criteria filters to let users refine what they see. Reports can also be configured to show aggregated values (totals, averages, counts) for numeric fields.
Reports are the primary interface users interact with when using a Zoho Creator application. Design reports with the end user in mind: show the fields they need most prominently, group related records logically, and add action buttons for common operations (Edit, Delete, Approve) directly in the report view.
