Record Created Trigger

A Zoho Flow trigger that activates whenever a new record is created in a connected application, such as a new CRM lead or a new Desk ticket.

What Is a Record Created Trigger in Zoho Flow?

The Record Created Trigger in Zoho Flow fires whenever a new record is added to a connected application. For example: a new Lead in Zoho CRM, a new Ticket in Zoho Desk, a new Form submission in Zoho Forms, or a new Row in Google Sheets. This is one of the most commonly used triggers for data synchronisation flows.

Common Use Cases

When a new CRM lead is created, add them to a Zoho Campaigns mailing list. When a new Desk ticket is created, post a notification to a Slack channel. When a new Zoho Forms response is submitted, create a corresponding CRM lead. The record created trigger enables real-time cross-app data propagation.

Trigger Filters

Most Record Created Triggers support filters that restrict the trigger to records matching specific criteria. A CRM Lead Created trigger might filter to fire only for leads with Lead Source = Website, preventing flows from running for every lead regardless of source.
