A pick list in Zoho Inventory is an internal warehouse document that instructs warehouse staff on which items to retrieve from which locations to fulfil pending shipments. It consolidates picking instructions to reduce warehouse travel time and picking errors.
Zoho Inventory can generate a single pick list for multiple sales orders simultaneously (batch picking). Staff collect all items in one warehouse pass and then sort them by order at a packing station, reducing the total number of trips.
After picking is complete, the items are handed to the packing team with the corresponding packing slip. The pick list and packing slip together ensure that the right items are picked, packed, and shipped for each order.
