The Zoho People and Zoho Payroll integration automatically passes employee master data, attendance records, leave balances, and loss-of-pay information from Zoho People to Zoho Payroll, eliminating manual data entry and ensuring payroll is computed from accurate, real-time HR data.

What is the People + Payroll Integration?

When Zoho People and Zoho Payroll are used together, they share data through a native integration. The HR data captured in Zoho People — employee details, salary structure assignments, LOP days, leave encashment calculations, and attendance-based pay components — flows automatically into Zoho Payroll for each pay run, without any manual export or re-entry.

What data flows from People to Payroll

  • New employee details (name, PAN, bank account, joining date) are created in People and sync to Payroll automatically.
  • LOP days calculated from attendance data are passed to Payroll for salary deduction.
  • Leave encashment amounts are passed for inclusion in the final settlement pay run.
  • Comp Off and overtime hours eligible for payment are transferred to Payroll.
