Gantt Chart

A horizontal bar chart in Zoho Projects that visualises the project schedule, showing task durations, dependencies, milestones, and critical path.

What Is a Gantt Chart in Zoho Projects?

The Gantt chart in Zoho Projects is a visual representation of the project schedule on a timeline. Each task appears as a horizontal bar spanning its start and end dates. Dependencies are shown as connecting arrows, milestones as diamond shapes, and the critical path highlighted to show the longest sequence of dependent tasks.

Interacting with the Gantt Chart

You can drag task bars to reschedule them, draw dependency lines between tasks by connecting their endpoints, and expand or collapse task lists for a zoomed-in or high-level view. The Gantt chart updates in real time as tasks are completed or rescheduled.

Baseline Comparison

Zoho Projects allows you to save a baseline version of the Gantt chart at project kickoff. You can then compare the current schedule against the baseline to see which tasks are ahead of, on, or behind the original plan.
