The Create Record Action in Zoho Flow creates a new record in a target application using data from the flow. When a trigger fires (say, a form is submitted), the Create Record Action uses the form field values to create corresponding records in other systems — a CRM lead, a Desk ticket, a Books customer, or a Projects task.
Configure the action by mapping trigger data fields to the target application’s record fields. The email from the form submission maps to the CRM lead’s email field; the company name maps to the CRM lead’s company field. Careful field mapping ensures data integrity across systems.
Many Create Record Actions can be configured to check for duplicates before creating a new record. This prevents the same data from being imported multiple times if a trigger fires more than once for the same event. Configure deduplication logic appropriate to your data model.
