Home Glossary Zoho Flow Connection
Zoho Flow

Connection

An authenticated link in Zoho Flow between the platform and a third-party application, established once and reused across multiple flows involving that application.

What Is a Connection in Zoho Flow?

A Connection in Zoho Flow is a saved authentication link between Zoho Flow and a specific application account. Once you create a Connection for, say, your Mailchimp account, all flows involving Mailchimp can reuse that Connection without re-entering credentials. Connections are shared across flows within the same Zoho Flow organisation.

Creating Connections

Create connections by navigating to the Connections section in Zoho Flow and authenticating with your third-party app account (typically via OAuth for modern apps, or API key for simpler ones). The Connection stores the access credentials securely and renews OAuth tokens automatically.

Connection Management

If a Connection expires or its credentials are revoked, all flows using that Connection will fail. Monitor connection health in Zoho Flow’s dashboard. When a team member who created a Connection leaves the organisation, transfer their connections to another account owner before offboarding to prevent unexpected flow failures.
