A Page is a drag-and-drop canvas in Zoho Creator where builders compose the user interface of their application. Unlike a raw report or form, a Page lets you arrange multiple components, such as a chart, a list, a welcome message, and action buttons, into one cohesive screen. Pages are what end users see when they open the app.
Components available on a Page include report widgets, form embed buttons, HTML components, image placeholders, countdown timers, and custom Deluge-powered widgets. Components can be conditionally shown or hidden based on the logged-in user’s role, making Pages adaptable for multi-role applications where different users need different views.
A Report is a data display component, while a Page is the full screen layout that hosts one or more components. Most Creator applications set Pages as the home screen rather than exposing raw reports directly. This gives builders control over navigation structure and branding, resulting in applications that look and feel like proper business tools rather than database views.
