What Is a List Report in Zoho Creator?

A List Report is the default report type in Zoho Creator. It presents all records submitted through a form in a table layout, with each row representing one record and each column mapping to a form field. Users can scroll through data, apply filters, and search for specific entries without writing any code.

Customising a List Report

Builders can choose which fields appear as columns, set default sort orders, and apply column formatting such as conditional highlighting. List Reports also support row-level action buttons, so users can edit or delete records directly from the report view. Field-level permissions control which columns are visible to which portal users.

When to Use a List Report

List Reports suit operational use cases where users need to scan or manage a large set of records quickly, such as reviewing submitted expense claims, checking open support tickets, or tracking inventory items. For aggregated or visual summaries, use Summary Reports or Chart Reports instead.
