Zoho Flow

Loop

A step in Zoho Flow that iterates over a list or collection of records, executing subsequent actions for each item in the list.

What Is a Loop in Zoho Flow?

A Loop in Zoho Flow allows you to iterate over a list of items (an array from a trigger or action output) and execute the same set of actions for each item. For example, if a trigger returns a list of 10 line items from an order, a loop processes each line item individually — creating a record in another system for each one.

Common Loop Use Cases

Processing all contacts returned by a CRM search. Creating line items in Zoho Books for each product in a Sales Order. Sending individual messages to each member of a group returned from an HR system. Any use case where a trigger or action returns multiple records requiring per-record processing needs a loop.

Loop Performance

Loops that iterate over large datasets (hundreds or thousands of records) may exceed Zoho Flow’s execution time limits or consume significant API quota from connected apps. For high-volume data processing, consider whether Zoho Flow is the right tool or whether a bulk API operation or a scheduled script would be more efficient.
