Segment Condition

A filter rule in Zoho Campaigns defining the criteria a contact must meet to be included in a dynamic segment, such as location equals Mumbai or last opened within 30 days.

What Is a Segment Condition in Zoho Campaigns?

A segment condition in Zoho Campaigns is a filter rule that determines which contacts qualify for inclusion in a dynamic segment. Each condition evaluates a contact property or behaviour against a value using operators like equals, contains, greater than, or within the last X days.

Building Multi-Condition Segments

Multiple conditions can be combined with AND logic (contact must meet all conditions) or OR logic (contact must meet at least one). For example, segment contacts who are (Industry = Manufacturing) AND (opened any email in the last 60 days) AND (not tagged as Customer) to identify active manufacturing prospects who have not yet converted.

Condition Types

Conditions can be based on contact fields (name, email, city, custom fields), campaign engagement (opened, clicked, bounced), subscription status, CRM data (if integrated), or date-based triggers (subscribed in the last X days). The combination of field and behaviour conditions enables highly precise audience targeting.
