DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) is an email authentication mechanism that uses a digital signature to verify that an email was sent from an authorised server for that domain and that the message content was not altered in transit. Zoho Campaigns digitally signs outgoing emails with your domain’s DKIM key.
Zoho Campaigns adds a DKIM signature (a cryptographic hash of the email headers and body) to each outgoing message. The receiving server retrieves your public key from your DNS records and uses it to verify the signature. If the verification passes, the email is authenticated and more likely to be delivered to the inbox.
Zoho Campaigns provides a CNAME or TXT record to add to your domain’s DNS. Once added and verified, all campaigns sent from your domain are DKIM-signed. DKIM setup, combined with SPF and DMARC, creates a robust authentication framework that significantly improves deliverability.
