A project in Zoho Projects is the top-level container for all work associated with a specific goal or engagement. It has a defined start date, end date, owner, budget, and status. All milestones, task lists, tasks, issues, and timesheets in Zoho Projects belong to a project.
When creating a project, you configure its name, description, start and end dates, billing method (fixed cost, hourly, or non-billable), project template (if applicable), and team members with their roles. You can also set a budget in hours or money.
A single project tracks one engagement. Zoho Projects’ portfolio view lets you monitor multiple projects simultaneously, comparing their status, health, and resource utilisation across a programme of work.
