A pricebook (also called a price list) in Zoho Inventory is a named collection of item prices that can be applied to specific customers or transactions. It allows you to maintain different selling prices for different customer segments such as retail, wholesale, distributor, and export without changing the default item price.
You can configure a pricebook as a percentage adjustment on the default price (e.g., 15% discount for wholesale customers) or with fixed per-item prices entered individually. Percentage-based pricebooks automatically adjust when you update the base item price, while fixed pricebooks require manual updates.
Assign a pricebook to a customer record so it applies automatically to all their orders, or select it manually on individual transactions. A transaction-level pricebook overrides the customer-level default for that specific order.
