Zoho Inventory

Shipping Label

A printable label generated in Zoho Inventory containing the customer's delivery address, carrier details, and tracking barcode for attaching to a shipment.

What Is a Shipping Label?

A shipping label in Zoho Inventory is a printable document affixed to an outgoing package. It contains the sender’s address, customer’s delivery address, carrier service type, tracking barcode, and sometimes the weight and dimensions. Carriers scan the label to route and track the parcel.

Generating Labels

With a carrier integration set up, you can generate a shipping label directly from the shipment record in Zoho Inventory. The system sends the shipment details to the carrier API and receives a label in return, which you print and attach to the package.

Label Formats

Common label formats include 4×6 inches (thermal printer) and A4 with multiple labels per sheet. Most warehouses use thermal printers for efficiency. Zoho Inventory supports multiple label templates that can be customised with your branding if the carrier allows it.
