Inventory Valuation Report

A report in Zoho Inventory that shows the total monetary value of current stock, calculated using the selected costing method (FIFO or average cost).

What Is the Inventory Valuation Report?

The Inventory Valuation Report in Zoho Inventory shows the current monetary value of each item in stock, calculated using your configured costing method (FIFO or average cost). It is a key report for balance sheet preparation and for reconciling stock value with Zoho Books.

What It Shows

For each item, the report lists quantity on hand, cost per unit, and total stock value. You can filter by warehouse or item category. The aggregate total represents the inventory asset value on your balance sheet.

When to Run It

Run this report at month-end for management accounts, at year-end for statutory accounts, and whenever you suspect a discrepancy between your inventory system and your accounting system. Regular reconciliation with Zoho Books prevents surprises at audit time.
