What Is SalesIQ + Desk Integration?

The integration between Zoho SalesIQ and Zoho Desk allows operators to create a Zoho Desk support ticket directly from a SalesIQ chat conversation. The chat transcript is attached to the ticket, and the visitor’s contact record in Desk is linked or created automatically.

Workflow

When a support issue arises during a live chat, the operator can push the conversation to Desk without leaving SalesIQ. The ticket is created with the issue description, the visitor’s contact details, and the full chat transcript. The support agent in Desk then follows up via the ticket’s email thread.

Benefits

This integration ensures that support issues raised via chat are tracked with the same rigour as email-raised tickets, preventing them from falling through the cracks after the chat ends. It also gives Desk agents context about the visitor’s browsing history and previous chats when handling the ticket.
