Inventory + Books Integration

The native connection between Zoho Inventory and Zoho Books that synchronises invoices, vendor bills, payments, and stock value between the two systems.

What Is Inventory + Books Integration?

Zoho Inventory and Zoho Books are natively integrated, sharing the same contact database, item master, and transaction data. Invoices and vendor bills created in Zoho Inventory automatically appear in Zoho Books for accounting treatment without duplicate data entry.

What Syncs

Contacts (customers and vendors), items and pricing, sales invoices, vendor bills, credit notes, vendor credits, payment allocations, and inventory adjustments all sync between the two systems. The inventory asset account in Books is updated as stock moves.

Accounting Entries

When you raise a sales invoice in Inventory, Books creates the corresponding debit to accounts receivable and credit to sales revenue. When stock is adjusted, Books posts the appropriate debit or credit to the inventory asset account. This automation eliminates the manual journal entries that are otherwise required.
