A drag-and-drop interface designer in Zoho CRM that lets you rebuild the record detail page layout without writing code.
Canvas is Zoho CRM's visual record layout editor. Instead of working with the default field grid that Zoho provides, Canvas lets administrators and developers design fully custom record views using a drag-and-drop interface. You can add custom components, reorder sections, embed images, apply conditional visibility rules, and change the visual hierarchy of how information is presented to different user roles.
The practical value is in reducing cognitive load for sales reps. A standard CRM record can have 80+ fields. Canvas lets you build a view that shows only the 12 fields a rep needs during a sales call, in the exact order they are needed, with key data highlighted visually. Different Canvas layouts can be applied to different user profiles.
Canvas views are particularly powerful for field service teams, where a technician's mobile view needs to look completely different from a manager's pipeline view, even though they're looking at the same underlying record.
