The current location of each active agent is displayed on the Dispatch Console map in near real-time, allowing dispatchers to see where every technician is at any given moment. This visibility enables more accurate ETA calculations, better emergency job assignments, and live tracking links for customers awaiting service visits.<\/p>\n<h2>How Dispatchers Use Geo-tracking<\/h2>\n<p>When an emergency job comes in, the dispatcher can view the map, identify which active agents are geographically closest to the job site, and check whether they have capacity. Geo-tracking also shows when an agent is running significantly behind their scheduled route, allowing the dispatcher to proactively call the affected customer about the delay rather than waiting for the customer to call in to complain. This is a significant improvement in service communication quality.<\/p>\n<h2>Geo-tracking Privacy and Working Hours<\/h2>\n<p>FSM&#8217;s geo-tracking is configured to operate only during defined working hours.
