Each task can have one primary owner (assignee) and, in some configurations, co-owners or followers who receive notifications but are not primary assignees.<\/p>\n<h2>Assignment Best Practices<\/h2>\n<p>Assign tasks to the most appropriate person at the time of task creation rather than leaving tasks unassigned. Unassigned tasks frequently fall through the cracks and delay projects.
