It is a goal-setting methodology originally popularised by Intel and Google, now widely used in technology companies and fast-growing businesses. An Objective is a qualitative, inspirational description of what you want to achieve. Key Results are 2 to 5 specific, measurable outcomes that define what success looks like for that objective.<\/p>\n<p>Example: Objective = Become the most trusted Zoho implementation partner in Western India. Key Results = Achieve NPS score above 70, publish 12 case studies from client implementations, receive 3 partner-of-the-quarter awards from Zoho.<\/p>\n<h2>OKRs vs traditional goals<\/h2>\n<p>Traditional goals are often individual and operational. OKRs tend to be more ambitious and strategic, set at multiple levels (company, team, individual) with explicit alignment between levels.
