Each step has a type (email, call, or task), a day number indicating when it occurs relative to the Cadence start or the previous step, and the content or instructions for that touch point.<\/div>\n<div class=\"gt-section\">\n<h2>Types of Cadence Steps<\/h2>\n<p>Three step types are available. An <strong>Email Step<\/strong> sends a pre-written email automatically on the scheduled day. A <strong>Call Step<\/strong> creates a task reminding the rep to make a phone call on that day, with optional call script notes. Step 5 (Day 10): follow-up email. Step 6 (Day 14): call task with the goal of booking a discovery call. Step 7 (Day 18): final email.
